Yes, I realise that Amazon Prime Day 2022 is coming up, but I’m not writing this post to promote that. To be honest, days like Amazon Prime day don’t impress me. I like Amazon for the convenience. As long as it has the Prime symbol next to the item I want, it’s guaranteed same day or next day delivery. This is why you should join Amazon Prime. New members can even try Amazon Prime free for 30 days. Sign up here.
However, for those of you who love Amazon Prime day, here’s a reminder of when it is.
What is Amazon Prime?
For a monthly fee of £7.99, or an annual fee of £79, Amazon Prime members enjoy the following benefits:
Unlimited One-Day Delivery on millions of items in the UK and Same Day Delivery in select areas. Unlimited Two-Day Delivery to Ireland.
Same-day grocery delivery on orders of £40 or more, in select areas.
Watch what you love on Prime Video with award-winning Amazon Originals, as well as movies, TV shows, live sports, and more.
Amazon Music Prime gives you access to millions of ad-free songs and playlists. Listen with Alexa or on the go when you download to your mobile device.
Amazon Photos offers unlimited full-resolution online photo storage and 5 GB free video storage. Access your photos and videos anywhere, from your desktop, mobile, or tablet devices.
Prime Reading lets you enjoy unlimited reading on any device, with over a thousand books, magazines, comics and articles.
Amazon First Reads allows you to choose one Kindle book of the six Editors’ Picks each month for no additional cost.
Prime Gaming offers free games, in-game loot, and a Twitch channel subscription every month.
Prime Try Before You Buy lets you try on clothes and shoes in the comfort of your home without paying first. You have 7 days to decide which items you like and only pay for what you keep.
3 Reasons why you should join Amazon Prime today
- FREE DELIVERY whenever you need it. This is extremely convenient, because I am sure that we all have days when we need something urgently. Whether it’s vitamins and minerals, a last minute gift that you forgot to send to your friend or loved one, or treating yourself to a designer lip gloss to cheer yourself up.
- AMAZON MUSIC. This is something I only recently discovered. You can sign up to the Amazon unlimited music plan, which gives you access to millions of songs, but the free version that you receive with Amazon Prime is enough (for me). Except for some reason, I have to buy Amazon Unlimited Music to listen to the 80s classic Rush Hour by Jane Weidlin. If you have a car with Bluetooth built in, you can also use the built in Alexa to listen to whatever you want while you are driving. Spotify couldn’t even offer that, and I’m still waiting for its car device that allows for fast forwarding tunes. Sure, you have to continue repeating Alexa, in order to activate the AI, but if you don’t like the song, just say Alexa, wait to see that it has picked up your voice, and ask it to play the next song.
- AMAZON MOVIES. You will get access to hundreds of movies and TV shows.
Here are my 3 reasons as to why you should join Amazon Prime today. Plus it’s free for 30-days so you can try out all of the benefits, and then unsubscribe if you so wish. Another bonus is that if you miss the deadline to cancel Amazon Prime, when it comes to the cancellation it will ask if you want to keep the benefits for the next month, or receive a refund.
Final thought. If you love weight training, then you might own a few kettlebells. Some kettlebells are available to buy via Amazon Prime, so just consider how much a kettlebell would cost in a normal mail. Order a kettlebell that’s listed on Amazon Prime, and it’s yours the following day. So what are you waiting for:
