The Best Bit about Zilch Reward Points is Spending Them

It’s also lovely logging into Zilch and then finding out someone has joined through my referral link and I have £15 worth of points.

This gem happened to me on Wednesday evening when I was getting ready to pay with Zilch to earn 2% cashback at Home Bargains. That’s two referrals thus far, which has given me 3000 reward points, which equals £30.

The best bit about these Zilch reward points is spending them, and spend (part of) them I did this afternoon. I am going to my husband’s uncle’s birthday do tomorrow so I headed to the high street shop New Look and found a lovely pair of brown short trousers and a boho style dress in the sale. I already had 4800 Zilch reward points (£48) and I got both pieces for 2300 Zilch reward points.

The only downside with spending the reward points is there are no refunds available, but I am confident these clothes will fit me, as they are the correct size.

How to use Zilch Reward Points

1. As I was buying in store, I logged into Zilch and chose ‘shop in store‘
2. I knew that New Look was already a Zilch merchant, but I just double checked beforehand, as you can do too.
3. When it asks where would you like to pay, choose online or in-store. Click continue
4. Choose either pay in 4 or pay it all now, earn 2% back. Click continue
5. Enable your rewards balance, then open Google pay, Apple pay, or whatever payment source you use for contactless through your mobile.
6. Tap your phone against the contactless sign and your purchase will be deducted from your reward points.
