Are you looking for the perfect wedding lipstick? It’s easy when you have your favourite.
Here is mine!
It was lovely getting married, even though it’s been difficult for us previously with my Borderline Personality Disorder and my frequent need to run away for fear of rejection.
I had to have three GABA capsules before the ceremony, or I would have been a nervous wreck.
Thankfully, it was a day in which my skin would glow. I had no make up on, except a bit of black liner, waterproof mascara, and my favourite Christian Dior Addict Lip Glow in Rose Halo.
It sure is pricy, but it tastes minty, plumps up the lips, and dependent on the mood, darkens the lips to match the mood. I even converted my sister onto this product, and I can tell when she wears it. Her lips just have a dazzling tint, as Rose Halo has a metallic finish. Here is another post I wrote on this many years ago.
It’s very moisturising too. I only had to apply it once more after my new hub nub had snogged it all off me, and it didn’t end up wrecking our faces either, like red lipstick might have done. Me and red lippy is a no no! However, hubby treated me to another Christian Dior Addict Lip Glow at Christmas in shade, 004 Coral. It’s not my favourite, but it comes close. Leaves a red-orange tint without looking too overpowering.
So, since the Christian Dior Addict Lip Glow Rose Halo is a popular shade, here’s a few links to where you can buy it.
011 Rose Gold is out of stock at Notino
011 Rose Gold is available at Selfridges from £30, but is out of stock. No discount codes available.
I have no idea why these cosmetic companies create a great glittery lipstick, then no longer stock it. Drives me crazy! Dolce & Gabbana did it with D&G By, which was a lovely fragrance.
I hope that I have helped you to consider what the perfect wedding lipstick will be for you.
Wondergloss at Beauty Pie is another fantastic product, which costs from £8.50 with a monthly subscription. Check out the latest Beauty Pie discount code and offers here.
