I own a Polar watch, it’s an older A300 sports watch and activity tracker that has really inspired my workouts. It requires a charge every two weeks, clocks my sleep patterns, and has over 30 activities, of which I engage in indoor rowing, spinning, weight training, and indoor climbing. When used with the heart rate strap, the A300 will give me a fitness test for my resting pulse and age, and when I record the activity session while wearing the heart rate strap, it gives an accurate heart rate and accurate calorie burn. Then it can be uploaded onto the Polar App.
So how can the Polar watch inspire your workouts? Well, every hour if you haven’t moved, it will tell you to get moving, or you’ll receive a strike. I don’t think there’s ever a day that goes by when I’ve not had a strike. Even walking can be recorded using the Polar activity watch.
