I first moved to Quidco after Top Cashback was no longer tracking my purchases consistently. No one can fool us when we use cashback sites like Quidco and Top Cashback, because we know that we have clicked through to them, and when it doesn’t go through and you have to make a manual claim, which can take up to six months, only then to be declined, it pees me off.

Merchants like Hotel Chocolat through  Quidco NEVER track, and they won’t take my word for it, just blame cookies etc. However, when I click through to Hotel Chocolat through Zilch, I’ll always receive my Zilch reward points worth 2% percent.

Those blasted cookies that they deny us cashback on, not the edible type, are on everything, and unless you clear your cache or cookies, which I rarely do on my laptop, it’s doubtful that this problem has anything to do with us. I think the sad truth is that they will keep the affiliate purchase made by us, and yet not pay its customers.

That’s where the reliable Zilch comes in. I’ve been using Zilch for about a year. I was so impressed that I set up two websites dedicated to Zilch, Zilch Card and Zilch UK. Sadly these are not affiliate websites, as no affiliate networks will approve me, but I can share my affiliate link to earn you a free 500 Zilch reward points, worth £5 to spend on stores online or in-store. It’s super easy!

Forget Quidco and Sign up to Zilch Instead

When you use your Zilch card to pay for purchases online, you can earn up to 5% in Zilch reward points. I’ve earned over £120 in reward points since signing up. I always check if the online merchant is listed with Zilch before I make a purchase. Even energy companies like Octopus Energy can earn you money each month, if you cancel your direct debit and make an online payment instead. If your gas and electricity bill is £100 per month, then that’s 200 in Zilch reward points every month. It’s money better in your pocket, than the greedy energy companies.

Zilch and 5% Zilch Reward Point Merchants

Here are some merchants that are offering 5% cashback in Zilch reward points.

  • Converse
  • Hotels.com
  • Puma
  • SCS
  • Lego
  • CD Keys
  • The Fragrance Shop
  • Gymshark
  • Office Shoes
  • Bose
  • Tesco Mobile
  • Charlotte Tilbury

Once you get used to using the Zilch app, you’ll never waste your time on cashback sites like Quidco again, which are just not reliable, but Zilch is reliable. One of the downsides to Zilch is that they reduced their initial £15 in reward points to £10, and now to £5, and their Zilch anywhere now only pays half a percent both online and in-store, as long as you opt to pay it all now.
