Some of the best skincare ingredients are also the most naturalist, and inexpensive. Too many people fear fats, but when it comes to skin you want a product that is protective, moisturising, and non-comedogenic. Tallow face cream meets all of this criteria.
The skincare industry, especially hand made skincare products, is vast. We simply cannot try every product, so where should we go for a simple tallow face cream? I doubt Boots and Superdrug will stock such a product. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Tallow Face Cream
I notice that tallow face creams are rare to find in high street shops, and I’ve seen some been listed on Etsy at over £25. I bet you are glad you found this blog post because I am going to put you in touch with a lovely natural handmade skin creams company called Natural Skin Care Stuff. I discovered them at Hebden Bridge market one Saturday, and I purchased the Argan and Tallow Face Cream, and the Neem Balm for my friend who has psoriasis on his arms and legs. Just a day later, he messaged me on Whatsapp to tell me that he thought the cream was working. Neem is a fantastic healer. Both were priced at £7.50. The tallow face cream has a wonderful creamy texture that melts into the skin and leaves it non-greasy.
Etsy reviews reveal that tallow face creams are popular and you can buy them from as little as £12 up to over £25. I found this one on Etsy for £9 in the sale, usually £12. However, can you find one for £7.50, like this one. Free delivery is available £35 and over, plus you can save 15% with this Natural Skin Care Stuff promo code.

So What’s the Hype with Tallow in Face Creams?
Tallow, a form of rendered animal fat, particularly from cows or sheep, has been used for centuries in skincare products, including face creams, due to its nourishing and moisturising properties. While its use may have declined with the rise of synthetic ingredients, tallow is making a comeback in natural skincare, praised for its ability to nourish and rejuvenate the skin. Its composition, closely resembling the fats and oils found in human skin, makes it especially effective as a skincare ingredient.
One of the primary benefits of tallow in face creams is its high concentration of essential fatty acids, including stearic and oleic acid. These fatty acids are critical for maintaining healthy skin by helping to form a protective barrier that locks in moisture and protects the skin from environmental stressors. This makes tallow particularly beneficial for individuals with dry, sensitive, or mature skin, as it helps to restore hydration and improve skin elasticity.
Tallow is also rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, which are known to promote healthy skin. Vitamin A, in particular, is renowned for its ability to support skin cell regeneration and repair, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant, helps to neutralise free radicals and protect the skin from premature aging and sun damage.
Another advantage of tallow in face creams is its non-comedogenic nature, meaning it doesn’t clog pores. This is especially important for individuals prone to acne or blemishes. Unlike many synthetic creams that can cause irritation, tallow is gentle and easily absorbed by the skin.
In summary, tallow’s natural composition, rich in fatty acids and vitamins, makes it a powerful ingredient in face creams. It deeply moisturises, nourishes, and protects the skin, offering a natural solution for maintaining a healthy, youthful complexion.
Getting Back to Nature
Frankly, the advice that the media, the NHS, and the world promotes is unhealthy. It is asking you to believe that cholesterol is this unhealthy product that your body needs to rid to be heart healthy, when in truth cholesterol is necessary for healthy brain health. I would guess that those with brain degenerative diseases like dementia or Alzheimer’s would benefit from a diet higher in cholesterol, for example two eggs fried in butter daily. Salt is another essential mineral that most people think they need to reduce in their diet. Yes, stay away from the table salt, and instead use a good quality sea salt, which is higher in minerals. Then we have saturated fats that are attacked, fats like butter, coconut oil, tallow, meat fats etc replaced by margarine (which is grey before colorants are added) and plant based spreads, plus the superfood raw milk is labelled as dangerous by so called ‘experts’ and the legacy media, and instead to put your trust in vaccines to protect you, rather than good nutrition.
After the Government’s advice over the last four years, I wouldn’t believe anything what they or the NHS promote. Lock downs and masks did nothing, but ruin small businesses and basically control people to the point of losing critical thought. Does the MHRA care about how many people experienced a vaccine adverse reaction, or death? No, they have stopped reporting these statistics because they ‘believe’ they are firmly safe and effective. I was collating the data since 2021.
Achieving the Inner Glow
So my point of this little rant is to give your skin what it needs. Healthy saturated fats will give your skin an inner glow that plant based foods just can’t provide because fats are rich in essential vitamins. Educate yourself on healthy fats and get back to nature. This podcast is excellent. Don’t let the media and big pharma and food destroy your immune system. You don’t need chemicals to clean your home or clothes. Use microbes instead.

Switch from pasteurised milk to raw milk, it is super healthy. My family have been drinking it since I was six months pregnant, and now baby drinks it too, in between breast milk feeds. Fen Farm Dairy does a nationwide delivery of raw butter and raw milk. Their milk, after testing, was found to be healthier than pasteurised milk. Check out their video of their raw milk process. It’s fascinating. Search for a raw milk provider at this website.
In Conclusion
Skincare products like tallow face cream can definitely enhance the beauty of your skin by adding protection, nutrients, and moisture to the skin, but it’s also important to feed your skin from within with healthy saturated fats like butter, bone broths, and meat fats. The plant based diet simply does not contain those essential vitamins and minerals that animal fats provide. Research it for yourself and you will discover that people who had skin problems were healed by simply changing their diet.
