preworn

Have you yet discovered Preworn.ltd? Yes, it might be a copy of Vinted, but most of the stuff is branded and it’s far cheaper than the big charity shops like Oxfam and British Heart Foundation. Plus it’s free delivery over £20, so you don’t need to buy a lot to receive your order free. I think even Everything5pounds.com has significant delivery fees, and doesn’t have a minimum order amount for free delivery. Here’s another post I wrote on Preworn.

I have a big problem with charity shops these days, especially the clothing and furniture shops. Even some charity shops focusing on children’s items are charging over £100 on prams, and it’s not on. People are donating their products, which means that the charity shop is not giving that donator any monies. Charity shops are meant to be non-profit, yet what is the justification to charge £15 on a hoodie just because it’s Nike or Adidas.

Charity Shops I Love

That’s why I love Scope in Rochdale because everything is £1. There is another shop in Heywood, I think it’s a Springhill Hospice shop where everything too is £1. This makes sense. Parents against Grooming or PAG is a bargain charity shop too.

In fact, on the subject of charity shops, I think anyone who shops second hand should be receiving an allowance for actual recycling, because that is what we are doing when we shop in charity shops, but no. The Government keep trying to control our behaviours, whether it’s eating too much red meat or buying an electric car, yet they will continue to lie about healthy saturated fats like butter and coconut oil, as do the British Heart Foundation. Some charity shops are on longer humble at receiving FREE items and overcharge on donated items. It’s a disgraceful practice.

Discover Preworn

I first discovered Preworn about a year ago and took a look at their website. The layout is not that great, and sifting through pages and pages of clothing can be tedious, but if you have the time to take a look, you can find some great bargains. I was disappointed with the bag purchase, as the clutch fastening was loose, and the customer service was non-existent, but I was happy with the clothing I found.

Not only do they sell branded clothing like Next and Superdry, but you’ll get those brands significantly cheaper than say, British Heart Foundation charity shop.

In addition, every time you shop at Preworn, you will receive 25 percent back in reward points to spend on your next shop. I think they also request second hand items, but I’ve read reviews saying that they are picky with what they take and it must be branded goods, and some money off vouchers were not honoured, so that’s not good business practice either.
